Dr. Kristin A. Christensen is a licensed clinical psychologist. She lives and practices in Hawaii. She has been practicing for 20 years. She works one-on-one with a variety of clientele in her psychotherapy practice. Her specialization in working with adolescents and adults allows her to gain knowledge and expertise in working with numerous diagnoses and clinical issues.
About
Dr. Christensen accepts most types of insurance including but not limited to – Blue Cross-Blue Shield, HMSA, HMSA Quest, AlohaCare, TriCare, UHA, MDX, & Deseret Mutual.
Unfortunately, she no longer accepts EverCare or Ohana Health Insurance.
Dr. Christensen was born and raised in Utah. She attended Utah State University where she received her bachelors degree in psychology. She then moved to San Francisco, California where she attended the California School of Professional Psychology – Alliant International University.
At CSPP – The California School of Professional Psychology, she received her Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.). She moved to Hawaii to complete her post-doctoral internship and has lived on the islands ever since.
She currently has a private tele therapy office where she sees a number of different clients with a range of issues. She specializes in working with Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety. She sees clients beginning at age 15 through adulthood.
